Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Living Waters Homeschool ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Living Waters Homeschool provides software tools to help families organize homeschool records, plan learning activities, and track progress.
The Platform is a parent-directed organizational and record-keeping tool.
3. Not a School or Educational Provider
Living Waters Homeschool is not a school, does not provide accredited education, and does not provide instruction, curriculum, or educational supervision. All educational decisions remain the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian.
4. No Legal or Compliance Advice
The Platform does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee compliance with any state homeschool laws. Any compliance-related information is provided for informational purposes only.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Maintain responsibility for your homeschool records
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Living Waters Homeschool offers paid monthly membership plans. When you purchase a paid membership, you authorize Living Waters to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis for the subscription fee associated with your selected plan.
The applicable monthly price depends on the plan you select and any pricing cohort (such as Founding Member pricing) that applies to your account at the time of purchase. The applicable subscription price will be shown before you complete checkout. Your subscription will be billed at the price confirmed in the Stripe checkout session you authorize.
7. Free and Introductory Trials
Eligible paid memberships may begin with a 30-day introductory free trial. A payment method is required at checkout to start the trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to the selected paid monthly plan and your payment method will be charged the applicable monthly price.
Trial eligibility is determined at Living Waters' sole discretion and is limited to one introductory trial per customer. A customer who has already consumed an introductory trial is not eligible for another introductory free trial, regardless of whether a Founding offer or other promotion is available.
8. Automatic Renewal
Paid memberships automatically renew monthly until you cancel. Each renewal authorizes Living Waters to charge your payment method for the next billing period.
You are responsible for canceling your subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next billing period.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription, or by contacting our support team through the Platform.
Cancellation is prospective. Canceling stops future renewal charges but does not automatically reverse a charge that has already been properly processed. You retain access to your membership features through the end of the current paid period.
For refund eligibility, see our Refund Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
10. Plan Changes
You may change between available paid plans (for example, upgrading from Lite to Core or downgrading from Core to Lite) through Settings → Billing. Upgrades may result in a prorated charge for the current billing period. Downgrades typically take effect at the end of the current billing period. Plan changes do not automatically generate refunds; see the Refund Policy for details.
11. Founding Member Pricing
Founding Member pricing is a discounted monthly rate available to qualifying customers. Founding Member pricing continues for as long as you maintain an active qualifying membership.
If you terminally cancel your qualifying membership, the Founding rate is forfeited. Returning later does not automatically restore the Founding rate unless Living Waters expressly grants an exception.
Trial eligibility is separate from Founding price eligibility. A former customer who has already consumed the introductory trial does not receive another introductory free trial merely because a Founding offer is available.
12. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. In summary, subscription fees are non-refundable once properly charged, except where required by applicable law or where Living Waters determines that a billing error or other qualifying exception exists.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Living Waters Homeschool shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
The total liability of Living Waters Homeschool shall not exceed the amount you have paid to use the Platform in the previous 12 months.
15. Data and Service Availability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
16. Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
